will a degree in Applied Behavioral Science get me into Nursing School?

No, not necessarily. Post-baccalaureate BSN programs not only require a BA or BS but specific pre-nursing courses. You have to know what those are by looking at the specific requirements of programs to which you want to apply.
If you're talking about an AA or AS degree, again, no. To be accepted into an undergraduate BSN program you also have to have taken and gotten certain grades in specific classes. In some cases, CC classes will be accepted. In other cases, a BSN program may not accept a class taken at a CC. Again, contact the admissions office of the BSN program and or look at the school's website for details.

No guarantee. Your specific coursework and your grades will determine that more than your degree will.

It might, it won't guarantee it. Look at their prerequisites, do you have them?
