How would you feel about moving to providence Rhode Island and why?

    It would depend on me and my spouse being able to continue in our jobs that are pretty specific to the major industry of the city in which we currently live. If I could shift to a seaside place with the awesome cheap real estate of a place like Providence and could find a decent school for my kids I'd do it (once my parents die).

    It would mean living inside of the US.

    There are worse places you could live.  Providence is okay, close to Boston, close to NYC.  Has a sorted history of corrupt politicians (Buddy Cianci) and mob activity.  Not sure what the tax situation is like, I'm sure the cost of living is too high.

    It would be nice to be near many large cities, but houses are usually clad in wood.
