    L1: 2x - y + 8 = 0

      

     y = 2x + 8

    m1 = 2

    L2: x - 5y = - 4

        

    - 5y = - x - 4

     y = x/5 + 4/5

    m2 = 1/5

    ................|1/5 - 2|

    tan(a) = -----------------

    ...............1 + (1/5)(2)

    ..............|-9/5|

    tan(a) = ---------

    ...............7/5

    tan⁻¹( a) = 9/7
