by law can i have company over during easter?

I didn't but on fb I saw where a family - who don't live together - all got together for easter. Eleven of them were sitting straight together on one couch. So I started getting jealous, because we canceled Easter plans to prevent the spread.

Did we just miss Easter for no good reason?

Where I live, groups of 10, or more are banned, so, your family gathering would have been.  These rules differ in different places.  In general, ONLY people who actually live together should be together - for now.

Laws vary depending where you are and you didn't say that.

When they all contract Covid-19, will you catch the disease too?
