Can my parents or anyone who I know keep me claimed as their dependent on their taxes if i move out than live somewhere by myself ?

Update:

I want to ask everyone that question because I wonder why my Stimulus Check had not show up in my direct deposit or had not come in my mail yet. I am getting SSI getting $783.00 a month with a Medicaid/$195.00 Snap, had not file any taxes in 2018, 2019, I had no children, were single, never married and I am living by myself paying my landlord $760.00 rent for a small private room in a private house 😞

Update 2:

and also I am 49 years old 😢

Update 3:

and I had been by myself in the same private room in 9 years 😢

Sure if they have your SS number and they are sketchy .

As long as you don't claim yourself, your parents can claim you.

That depends on your age, student status, etc. But generally if you are 19 or over and provide over half your own living expenses for the year, no they cannot.
