If your radial artery was lacerated would you be able to stop the bleeding yourself?

It depends if your other hand was damaged or not.  I’ve seen a radial artery severed in an accident on a ship, (I was US Navy) the guys hand was almost severed, he grabbed a towel with his other hand, wrapped it up and walked down to the infirmary.

If you caught it quickly enough, and immediately got to medical care, yes.  But generally, no.
