Which expression is equivalent to (cosθ) / (1 + sinθ)

a) cosθ(1 + sinθ) / (1 + sin^2 θ)

b) (cosθ) / (1 - sinθ)

c) (1 - sinθ) / (cosθ)

d) (1 + sinθ) / (cosθ)

Multiply the expression by (1-sinθ) / (1-sinθ) to give:

cosθ(1-sinθ) / (1 - (sinθ)^2) = cos(θ)(1-sinθ) / (cosθ)^2 = (1-sinθ) / cosθ Answer C

The answer is C. I initially tried this problem by substituting values in for theta in the original expression and then substituting the same values in for theta in all of the choices. C is the only answer choice that yielded a similar result.
