Is daytime the same as daylight?

    No, daytime implies business hours typically between 9:00AM - 5:00PM.  Daylight can be at the crack of dawn which could be 6:00AM depending on the time of year,  or in summer the early evening because the sun sets around 9:00PM.

    No not necessary, it depends on where you live, as some places say light at night up until 9pm.

    It is to me, but in certain places like Alaska where it stays dark in the daytime, it would be totally different.

    Similar, but refers technically to different aspects of a day -- time vs. light. It may differ by contexts in speech/text.

    No. One connotes time the other connotes a state of sunlight.

    Daylight means that the sun is out.

    Daylight means whenever the sun is out

    It's basically the same, the opposite of night.

    The day time temperatures...you can see better in daylight.
