Are there any hospital jobs that don’t require a college degree? ?

Like any jobs that just take on the job training

Please don’t say janitor

The only other job is candy striper. And that's a voluntary position. Right now, I doubt they are utilizing them.

You're right that a "candy striper" is a hospital volunteer.

Transporter. You move patients around like from their room to x-ray and back. Material handling specialist. you maintain the inventory of supplies for the hospital. Food service. Working in the kitchen, delivering meals to patients. There's a lot of jobs you can get with a HS diploma. Oh, and janitor.

Most 'on the job' training departed long ago. But the health field is constantly expanding, and many good working class jobs like radiology technician and ultrasound tech require less than 2 years of schooling (with clinicals). Supply clerks don't require any training, and there is often time to sit on the job.

You could be a Hospital Porter.

I did it for a while ''years ago'' now .. and really enjoyed it.

    My main duties were:

Taking patients from their wards to the operating theatre, and back

    Taking supplies to wards

Transporting clinical waste and other dangerous materials, to be insinerated

Moving hospital furniture and electrical equipment

Distributing internal post from one department to another

    and sometimes even

    Giving out meals to patients

    NO CLEANING !!
