Do people still do good deeds for other people?

Of course. Funny enough, because of people's self-centeredness, they do good deeds to other people because it feels good and it will have a positive effect on them. That's one of the reasons why indigenous people have less crime rates because the value of community is very much instilled on each citizen.

To be frank rarely and in west way more rarely. Current situtation will tell you a lot about it. Many young people are against lockdown because they literally don't mind old people dying. Using fake justification of freedom and patriotism they are protesting against lockdown.
