America helped both sides during the WW2 the supplied Trucks, aircraft engine and more to both side through the GM company. At the beginning No a little later they supplied arms, after Pearl Harbour they sent Army and Air Force. they did better than in WW1 though, in WW1 they took there time in coming to the UK, then sat on the fence in France not firing a shot for 12 months The United States declared war on Germany in April 1917, drafted a million-man army (the A.E.F.) in the ensuing months, and deployed it hurriedly to France in the winter of 1917-18. and the war ended in 1918 so only fought for a max of 6-9 months

Not from the start. They did allow lend-lease (which the UK paid for) but only entered the war when directly threatened by the Axis powers.
