My 13 year old friend says he has $4,000 in cash! Is he probably lying?

Not if a sibling or parents are selling drugs.

$4,000 is not a big amount.

      It's a big amount for a 13 year old.

You could ask him for evidence.

    Or where he obtained it.

But, if you are content with what you have, does it matter?

Leave him to his money or fantasy, whichever it is

I have no idea if he's lying, but how is that impressive? A lot of people have money.....

Well your friend has less money than me. I have around 22 thousand dollars.

I have around 10 thousand dollars at the bank, and around 12 thousand dollars in cash with me.

I don't know if your friend is lying, but I am not lying. I think it's possible your friend could have 4 thousand dollars in cash.

Where would a 13-year-old kid who's not even old enough to have a job get $4000 in cash?
