That's exactly why. It's classic projection on tRump's part, pure and simple.

You might want to consider that no country in the world elects its leader based upon a popular vote. And that is because everyone should realize the folly of letting the bottom 51% of the population control the 100%. It is just not going to happen any more than mom and dad are going to let their 3 children vote the decisions. An example. In a country that has an autocratic leader, such as a communist-socialist, there is a popular vote by the people to elect that person. But, the real process is the party selection of how that person becomes the designated nominee. The popular vote is for the selected candidate. It is autocratic mainly because there is only 1 political party. So, using that, your American democracy derives its freedom from the freedom of the 2 party system. If you tamper with that, then you lose it all. That is why what Obama and the democrats did is so dangerous to your freedoms by trying to overthrow Trump. And as you have done by blindly supporting the democrats. So, concerning the electoral college, go back and read what you should have already learned in your history/government books.

It's better than spending 2.5x as much while LOSING your way out of the White House, as the opposing party did.
