are insulin pens usable if accidentally frozen?

    If they are frozen they are not longer usable.

    Throw them away.  The contents will probably have separated during freezing and you will not be able to adequately remix it.

    All the manufacturers state that it should not be frozen. It can become clumpy when thawed and this may impact your body in a bad way via an embolism.
