Does an ice maker water lines have constant water flow?when I see the clear water lines that is attached to the filter there is air pockets?

will still produce ice but takes awhile

this ice maker is from a refrigerator

    Constant flow, no.  Constant pressure, yes.  Water isn't flowing through the ice maker supply line unless the ice maker is refilling for another run.  But water pressure is always on the line, ready for use.
