What's more beneficial for a fighter running or weight lifting? ?

    i would say both are very important but weight lifting would be a bit more important

      It is all abt conditioning and training. You also still have to spar and work on strikes and techniques. All of these are important. Not 1 more than the other.

    You need both. A great example just look at any boxing movie. Rocky he did both. You need both.

    It is part of the training and conditioning. You also need to spar and work techniques. All of those are vital. If you lack in one or do not do another part of it you lag behind.

    Running which is cardio, that can be substituted with other cardio like bike riding, swimming, vigorous sex etc. And weight training you can do bodyweight, resistance bands, kettle bells etc. But you still need to spar and do your strikes and techniques (which can all into cardio).

    All are a part of the whole. Without each piece of that it is incomplete.

    That means I WIN and you are stuffed in a body bag.

    Why not do both? Gain both the speed and a bit of muscle mass for the strength?
