Do you think Ianthe and Xanthe are too similar?

I really like the name Xanthe and Ianthe for my fraternal twin girls who are due in six weeks. But I wonder if they are too similar.  The middle names will be Xanthe Mercedes and Ianthe Venus

Update:

They are not the same name.

Xanthe is pronounced Zan-thee and means golden and Ianthe is pronounced Eye-an-thee and means violet flower.

You can do that if you want. I wouldn't, but that's just my taste. George Foreman named 5 sons George Foreman and a daughter Georgetta - that's too close.

They are too similar in my opinion.

They are interesting names (I like Xanthe the best), but they too similar. If you want unusual names, you could go with Xanthe and Xandra or Ianthe and Athena or Iris.

The last syllable is the same in both. Its not similar it's exactly the same.

I like both names but yes they’re too similar. Between the two, my favourite is Xanthe, so how about

    Xanthe & Iona

    Xanthe & Iris

    Xanthe & Isadora

    Xanthe & Isolde

    Or Ianthe & Xandra

    Ianthe & Xara/Zara

I think they are too close, I'm pretty sure they are the same name just different origins. I'd use them as middle names for at least one of them. Ianthe Mercedes and Venus Xanthe?
