Why cant they dump a load of grain in Africa so the ppl dont starve?

Update:

China sends over grain america europe its so cheap and so much food can be made from it, why do they only send over a few charity cans of food?

Update 2:

Why cant they divert a few ships every so often?

Update 3:

Yea figures, fcuking hell what a difficult problem to solve

Update 4:

It literally seems impossible short of colonialism

Update 5:

Like if China started running it as a 2nd china for the africans

Update 6:

and themselves obviously

Update 7:

I think they should divide Africa up and have it run by other countries

Update 8:

Otherwise nothing will change

Update 9:

How else do you do it?

Update 10:

Let the militia continue to fcuk it up?

Update 11:

and every1 continues to starve,

Update 12:

A stable order isnt happening

Update 13:

Its going to be colonized by china anyway they may as well have a bidding war for resources

Update 14:

and get a better deal than JUST china

Update 15:

Then it gets run by foreign powers the people have a normal functioning country and get fed and safety law and order, everyone makes more money , that seems the best way imo

War lords take control of the humanitarian food so some people still starve.  Africans need to stop fighting and start planting crops if they do not want to starve. The world cannot support them forever. Birth control (less babies) would mean more food per person and reduce the amount of starvation.

It's not a long-term solution - would you keep donating food to your neighbour every day? The best way to do it would be to invest in building infrastructure (schools, factories) there and raise education levels. Unfortunately, few have been willing to invest in Africa simply because there isn't much potential unless lots and lots of investors are keen.

I wouldn't object to trying but it tends to end up in the hands of the people with the most guns.
