    There are 1,000mm. to the metre, so cube that for mm^3 in 1 cubic metre.

    (1,000^3) = 1E9 mm^3.

    You need to multiply that by the given density of 5.23E-6 kg/mm^3

    (1E9 x 5.23E-6) = 5,230 kg/m^3.

    Given that:

    Density = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/mm3

    and 1 mm = 10-3 m ,

    So,

    1 mm^3 = (10^-3)10^-6 = 10^-9

    Hence,

    Density = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/mm3 = 5.23 x 10^-6 / 10^-9

    Or,

    Density = 5.23 x 10-6 x 10^9 = 5.23 x 10^3 kg/m3 . <--------< Anwer

    1 m = 10^3 mm

    1 m^3 = (10^3)^3 = 10^9 mm^3

    5.23*10^-6 kg/mm^3*10^9 mm^3/m^3 = 5.23*10^3 kg/m^3

    It should be:

    (5.23x10e-6kg/mm^3)x1000e3/1000e3=(5.23x10e-6kg/mm^3)x10e9/10e9

    5.23x10e3kg/m^3

    5230kg/m^3

    5.23×10−6kg/mm3 * (1000 mm/m)^3 = 5230 kg/m

    Density = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/mm3

    So 1 mm = 10-3 m

    so in order to convert the density in to kg/m3 we need to divide the Density by

    (10-3)3

    Density = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/m3 = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/mm3/(10-3)3

    Density = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/m3 = 5.23 x 10-6 kg/mm3/(10^-9)

                 = 5.23 x 10^3 kg/m3
