Is it safe to say that the Saints have no faith in Taysom Hill as a QB?

    They didn't think he was their QB of the future, or they would not have reclassified him to tight end.

    Nope. Payton has talked about Hill being a fine QB. They signed Jameis Winshit because it will make replacing Brees very easy: They'll let the human play QB instead of the mindless animal.

    I think his role on the Saints isn't meant to be a second string QB. His role is to give Breez a breather or run trick plays, and he's pretty good at it too. So I don't think they have lost faith in him.
