Why did Trump make a point of giving protesters until 7 to vacate the park and then attack them at 630?

What is his strategy? Why did he attack a peaceful protest? Does this mean he's any less of a coward?

The police did the same thing in Santa Monica, CA on Sunday.  They told the protesters (who were engaging in a peaceful sit-in, I might add) that they needed to wrap things up at 4pm.  They then proceeded to hit them with tear gas and rubber bullets at 3:12pm.

Meanwhile, only a few of blocks away (literally, walking distance) an organized criminal gang was burglarizing and ransacking a shoe store and a sporting goods store, and the cops didn't even show up or lift a finger to stop them.  They tear-gassed peaceful protesters and chased them off...and let the actual criminals off the hook, scot-free.  What a joke.

Trump is starting an internal war. He's a disaster in every way, and has been for a long time. Aren't there any Republicans with decency left to get rid of him?

deception is a key tactic in warfare. even if it's against his own citizens.

Evidently, anonymous missed the part of college where you study for one of you major tests and then the professor gives you a test different from what was studied. It is done to make you realize that life is unfair. It's the same for this situation and the little darlings that are protesting.

Obviously, he wanted to show he's "tough" and "had them under control". And he couldn't do that after they left.

They would have been there at 10.
