Have you ever seen a "hybrid" car?

    Yes owned one for tax purposes. Can’t say I was impressed. Hybrid per se was not the problem, it was actually quite good in electric only, but the CVT when in petrol mode was awful. Most the time you were just driving round with an inadequate engine with terrible transmission hauling half a ton of batteries. No it wasn’t a Prius but I have driven an Auris and that was no better , so don’t reply telling me how great a Prius is.

    Electric cars may have a future if battery technology improves but hybrids are not part of it,

    Saw one in the Petersen Automotive Museum.  The car was built in the early 1930's.
