Does anxiety come with autism ?

And a very weird way of thinking ... I’m autistic

Not all the time, but people with autism are prone to anxiety disorders.

No. But anxiety can eat at you.

I suppose it wouldn't be unreasonable. Since autism can make socialising and general understanding of the world around you more difficult, and coupled with a pressure to be able to keep up and appear 'normal', it could be a catalyst for anxiety. To a degree some people's autism may take them so far from a typical mindset that they aren't often aware of their difference. It's most likely the mildly autistic I think, who are close to being 'normal' but far enough away from it to know they aren't, that are the most likely to feel the anxiety more.

Yes, to both questions. People with Autism are much more prone to anxiety than those who don't have it. And yes, they have a very different view of the world and of life than someone without Autism does.
