Why does everyone ignore the fact that Tom Brady is too old to play in the NFL?

Tom Brady turns 43 this upcoming season, and everyone is excited that Brady is playing for a new team Buccaneers, this guy should have retired.

If you believe this guy should have retired just because of age your very clueless as to how the NFL works. He is still a good player. As long as he can preform he is still welcome in the NFL.That could change quickly but for now he gets to choose his path

Because he played for a team that won their division last year and still hasn't shown the degree of skills deterioration that some older quarterbacls did before they retired. He's not what he was, but he's far from the worst QB in the league.

He should have retired, but at this point he is 2nd in passing yards, TD and completions, and just wants to retire with all the records.

Tom Brady, on his WORST day,  is still better than half the quarterbacks out there.

Or put another way.........What team  does a 6 time Superbowl champ play for?

ANY damn team he wants........who would be LUCKY to have him.

If he doesn't produce any miracles with the BUCS  after just 1 or 2 seasons,  he'll probably hang it up.

Had he not left...........the PATS damn sure would have signed him again.

It's not like they were about to cut him from the team.

Some people try to stay on the job too long.  Joe Biden is a good example.  He's 77 and suffers from dementia.  And yet, he's running for president.

There is no law that says a 43 year old guy is too old to play quarterback in the NFL.
