What do you think would happen if the US nationalized major industries and corporations?

    The US would soon look like the Russian job market of the 1960's ---> Poverty and empty store shelves.

    It would depend on what major industries and corporations were involved and for what reason.  In 2008, when the government took over AIG, for instance, it was not really cause for alarm because the economy was in freefall.  In 2011, a federal court ruled that the takeover was an "illegal exaction."

    We would have starvation and poverty just like when Venezuela did the same thing.
