were the original native Americans a single race?

Kennewick man was found to have features that were quite similar to Europeans, he had the same DNA as native Americans but i imagine that there must have been evolution in the time Natives have been in America.

    There was probably a negroid people in the Americas before the Asiatic Native Americans arrived.

    With the exception of the Athabaskens and Eskimos, who came to North America later, yes... Native American has always been a single race.

    ALL humans alive are the same race, and have been for the last several dozen millennia, aka since the last time we almost went extinct
