Is it winter on the other side of the world now? & do they celebrate Christmas there this time of year?

It is Winter in the Southern Hemisphere and no we don't celebrate Xmas in July, we still have it on December 25th like everybody else but obviously it's in Summer. Here in New Zealand we do have what's called a 'Mid Winter Festival' where people will cook roasts and drink mulled wine which is kind of Christmas like.

That's not how the seasons work. The earth is now tilted towards the northern hemisphere. Which means summer for us and countries in the north. When the earth tilts toward the southern hemisphere that is winter for us but summer for places like Australia and south America and africa.
