Waiting for council house move , a query does gold banding have priority over silver or is there times priority changes?

    Read the website of the particular council and it will explain what gold banding and silver banding means...each council have different formats however normally it is the care needs levels required

    That's something you'll have to talk to your council about, they cover a small area and don't all do banding like that and set their own conditions for what band you are. My council calls it band A, band B an do on. You may find the council very busy and it can even take a couple of years. What you can do is look at housing associations, they behave very much like councils and charge similar, as well as offering more security than a private landlord.
