First of all, if you damage other people's cars you're an asshole, doesn't matter if it's a door ding or a collision. Their car is never going to be the same again. I assume that this is a hypothetical question, but it depends where you live, and other factors. Drunk driving can either be a misdemeanor or a felony. People who google your name will be able to see what you got arrested for. You will either be doing several years of probation, probation fees, thousands of dollars of fines, etc. OR you can go to jail for like 3 months if it's a misdemeanor. If it ends up being a felony you'll probably be in jail for like 6 months to a year. And then the more convictions you get, the longer the time gets. I knew someone that got like 10 years for a 4th DUI (felony)

Well it would help to know what state you live in.     But you will probably not go to jail.   You will get a suspended drivers license and have to pay fines.  And, your auto insurance premiums will go through the roof.

Please post your state for more help.

Who knows? Have you had other DUIs or drunk-driving convictions? How much property damage did you cause?

The chances are up to the judge and not for strangers to speculate about.

That will be up to a judge and if you continually drink. Destruction is destruction. Not your vehicle. But you hit something else...be it trees, boulders,in a ditch, over a cliff, whatever.  You are destroying Public Property. There is a cost to that. It's SLAMMER TIME! If you just destroyed your stuff - your car, your house YOU OWN(not rent), killed your family then no one really cares. (for the family you will have to answer for that with prison).  A car= a gun= a knife= a fork= a baseball bat=poison.

.   if it was just your car and YOUR baseball bat then no-one gives a flying fluck what you do to your own property.  Your insurance will not cover you for willful acts of destruction.

Very low unless its your 3rd or more DUIs.

But, expect to lose your license for a period of time and face fines.

If you have a good driving record and an attorney you might even get it pled down to something lower.

you might still go to prison for that

Start getting a very good lawyer.  You will likely get probation only and your license suspended for a certain time.   Next time you will not be lucky.

Depends on a lot of things.  But in most states, with no a good record and no prior offenses, you can probably get off with suspension of license, a year or two probation, and a fine or community service.
