In Christianity, how do we define what is sodomy and what is not? Can anyone provide a source or a list or a resource for reading about it?

Update:

I mean specifically what you can and cannot do.

Everything but procreative man part into lady part. No BJ's or going down on women or anal anything. That would include sex acts between men and women. That were not solely to make children. As having sex for pleasure. Is not what the god of the Bible invented sex for, after all. If you Bible freaks get to restrict who can have what type of sex. I get to restrict you as well to having sex. Only to make children.

Sodomy would be any sexual act that is not penis inserted into a vagina.

Sodomy--sexual intercourse involving anal or oral copulation.

So, no fellatio, cunnilingus or anything but penis in vagina would be allowed under no sodomy laws.

A person can know numerous truths, and can battle the sin of sodomy and other sins as well, by reciting the rosary of the Virgin Mary every day with care and sincerity.  The Virgin Mary is known as Model of Purity and is the only person other than Jesus completely without sin.

Sodomy is defined as having sex other than penis/vaginal.

It is not restricted to one sex.

So: Anal or Oral Sex between a husband and wife is sodomy.

NOTE: This is JUST THE DEFINITION. It in no way implies IT IS WRONG.

The Dictionary definition is "Unnatural sexual intercourse between males."  Now that cannot possibly be misunderstood.  It means anything sexual between two males is unnatural because natural intercourse is always between a man and a woman. That's the way God ordained for man and woman to live and procreate and comfort one another.

Just like everything else in Christianity, the indivdual decides for himself based on his own preferences, because the Bible doesn't make it clear and their god apparently tells everyone different things.

The sin of Sodom was arrogance, gluttony, and contempt for the poor. It's right there in the bible.

The English word sodomy does not appear in KJV scripture.

1 Kings 14:24 KJV — And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Here sodomite is Hebrew qadesh meaning.....

קָדֵשׁ qâdêsh, kaw-dashe'; a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry:—sodomite, unclean.

In the Bible there has always been a firm correlation between idolatry and sodomy.

    The dictionary definition:

    sod·om·y

    /ˈsädəmē/

    noun

sexual intercourse involving anal or oral copulation.

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." Chapter 20 verse 13
