Can two black German shepherds produce white shepherds ?
Just a question!! I’m just curious

Look back over the pedigree to see if there are any white german shepherds in the pedigree. It would be a recessive gene that pops up from nowhere. Chances are not likely.

In german shepherds, black is a recessive gene.
White is a masking gene.. Which needs two copies of that gene.
If both dogs happen to carry a gene for the white masking gene, it might be possible.. But the odds are slim.
Two black shepherds bred together will otherwise produce black shepherds
