    Hydrogen + Oxygen ➜ water

    2H₂ + O₂ ➜ 2H₂O

    molecular weights

    H = 1.008

    O = 15.999

    2H₂ = 4.032

    O₂ = 31.998

    2H₂O = 36.03

    2 mole of H₂ + 1 moles of O₂ ➜ 2 moles of H₂O

    4.03 grams of H₂ + 32 grams of O₂ ➜ 36.03 grams of H₂O

    ideally, 100 g of oxygen would be produce (36/32)100 = 112.5 g

    what percentage is75 g of that?

    75/112.5 = 0.67 = 57%
