COVID-19 experts quick question.?

When an infected person touches something how long will the virus last or atleast when someone touches it he/she won't get infected?

    They figure from 2 to 10 hours depending on the surface.   There must be a chart about that already someplace on the net.

     I have not bothered to care as I wash my hands daily.

    NHS UK and the government are saying 72 hours on most surfaces, shops for instance are having to quaranteen any returned items for this long before they can even touch them.

    72 hours is said to be the time span for plastics and metals. Shorter for other types of surface.

    It depends on what he/she touches (the material). It could last several hours.
