How do I work out the angle labelled A in the diagrams? I'm not sure what to do.?

    Angle ABD = 29°.

    Angle CBE = 44°.

    So we have 29° + a + 44° = 90°.

    Hence angle a = 17°

    Angle AED = 50°.

    Angle ADE = 40°

    Angle BDE = 21°.

    Angle ADB= 61° = angle a

    Hence angle a = 17°

    Angle BAC = 59°.

    Angle CAD = 41°.

    Angle a = 7°

    Assuming that the angles that look like right-angles really are 90 degrees.

    Then angle ABD is 29 deg.

    Angle CBE is 44 deg.

    So we have 29 + a + 44 = 90.  I hope you can figure that.
