Muslims, what does the Koran mean by 'Let there be no compulsion in religion'?

    we muslims also cannot force religion onto anyone... every human has the right to believe what he or she wants, whether it is the right path or not,,...

    "There is no compulsion in religion, ...." Quran 2:256. It means what it says: That Allah (swt) does not force religious beliefs into the mind and hearts of humans and Jinns. We are given complete freedom to believe or disbelieve.
