Is it possible to survive a free fall to the ground from the top of the Empire State Building?

Hmmmm. Interesting question. Only one way to find out. Good luck.

Of course. Everything that I know of can survive free fall. The fall doesn't create an undue forces.. The problem is when free fall suddenly stops at the bottom. You are no longer in free fall and the transition tends to hurt.

You can. But do not touch the ground. Every disaster happens when you touch the ground. As long as you do not touch the ground, you are safe.

Cant happen anyway. The building is built in a series of step-backs like a very TALL Wedding cake.----You would hit a ROOF on the way down, far from the ground, but still would kill you just as dead.

For a human, no.
For an insect, maybe.

Just take no for an answer and stop dreaming.

Possible, but not very likely. A man once jumped from a plane at 15,000 feet. His main parachute failed. His reserve parachute failed. He thought he was going to die, so he ditched his parachute harness and braced himself to land in the classic triangle pattern. He landed in a ploughed field and suffered two broken wrists and a broken leg.

only with a parachute or the equivalent.

Of course it isn't possible.
