What's the rules on shops limiting the number of people in a shop?

Just wondering why some shops are doing 1-2 person at a time and others aren't. Is this an optional thing?

Depends on where you live and the owner or managers parnoia or fear of being shut down.

I went to mcdonalds without my mask. I went in. The drive thru cashier TWICE said "he aint got no mask" but while she had one, it was not covering her mouth or face.

And it took her about 30 seconds to figure it out.

So its ok for her to infect everyone, but not me.

It just became mandatory in my county. And I simply forgot to put my mask on. No statement.

They have to make it possible for people to stay 2 meters apart while moving around the shop as they need to. What that means for number of people allowed in depends on the size and layout of each shop.

It depends on the municipality, stat, and insurance company, all of which have different rules.

They are limiting their liability - smart.
