Why did the DNC nominate moderate Republican Joe Biden to run against Trump?

    The DNC didn't.  The DNC doesn't nominate candidates.

    There are two things wrong with your question. The first is that the DNC does not choose a nominee, that is done by voters in the primaries. The other thing is that Biden actually hasn't been nominated yet, that happens at the convention. Maybe they do things differently at the RNC and rig who the nominee is, I don't know. It wouldn't surprise me though if that's the way they do it since Republicans seem to rig things.

    Most democrats ARE moderates. 

    They are fiscally conservative and socially liberal. 

    So the reason he was nominated is because he is just like many other democrats. 

    ps: There is a reason Sanders was not nominated, and that is because his policies are too far left.

    Biden is a Democrat. They are the racist party, always have been, never changed. It's funny to see him support the BLM movement when he co authored the 1994 crime bill himself.
