    That the type of person the term describes is white is incidental rather than racist.

    NOW: WHITES FEELING THAT KAREN IS A RACIST TERM

    (when in reality it can be applied to any woman perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary regardless of her AGE OR RACE)

    Yes, because it's aimed at middle aged ''white'' women. Imagine the outcry if a popular black female name like Jemima was used instead.
