Jesus did not destroy the Temple.  Jesus foretold that Jehovah’s temple would be completely destroyed. This happened when the Roman army led by Titus destroyed Jerusalem in the year 70. Matthew 24:2 Later, the Roman Emperor Julian planned to rebuild the temple.  Please read this article about what happened to the Temple.  https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/library/r1/lp-e/all-publ...

    Thank you for you comments.

Has God broken his covenant with Abraham?  NO.

It is not Jehovah's Witnesses that teaches 'replacement', Paul did. Jesus did, Peter did.

When a person becomes a anointed son of God by their faith in Jesus, they are grafted into Abraham's seed.

Galatians 4:26, 31 Christians become heirs to the promise made to Abraham.

To the Jew first and then to the Gentile.

By rejecting Christ, the Jew became children of Hagar, the fleshly temple, or the earthly temple in Jerusalem.

    Galatians 4:25

For a Jew to become part of the New Covenant, they must accept Christ the same as the Gentile.

When a person fleshly Jew or fleshly Gentile accepts Christ, the become the spiritual Jew.

(Romans 2:28) 28 For he is NOT a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision something on the outside, on the flesh. [caps by me for emphasis]

Paul tells us the fleshly Jews are no longer Jews. So who are God's chosen people today?

(Romans 2:29) 29 But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by spirit and not by a written code. That person’s praise comes from God, not from people.

If a spiritual Jew loses his faith, they can be pruned or removed from the tree and receive eternal destruction.

(Romans 11:21-22) 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Consider, therefore, God’s kindness and severity. There is severity toward those who fell, but toward you there is God’s kindness, provided you remain in his kindness; otherwise, you too will be lopped off.

How is 'all Israel' being saved?  By the removal of the unfaithful and the grafting of faithful gentiles.

Just as Jesus created a new covenant and a new nation and nailing the old covenant to the torture stake.

(Galatians 6:15, 16) 15 For neither is circumcision anything nor is uncircumcision, but a new creation is. 16 As for all those who walk orderly by this rule of conduct, peace and mercy be upon them, yes, upon the Israel of God.

As to the 70 week, Christ came / baptized at the end of the 69th year or the beginning of the 70th week, Christ died in the middle of the 70th week, sin offerings ended,  and the promise to the fleshly Jews remained opened to the end of the 70th week, at that time, the promise of being Abraham's seed was opened to the Gentiles.

The 70th week came and went 7 years after Christ was baptized.

Did Jesus 'destroy the temple?  Literally no.

Did Jesus allow the temple to be destroyed?  Yes, in 70 CE

This was in fulfillment of the prophecy in Daniel and Jeremiah.

It was the final visible act that the 'Old Covenant' with the Jews had come to an end.

In order to worship and serve God acceptable, one had to become a Christian, including the Jewish nation.

No longer would God have 'one' nation, but true worshipers would be of "ALL" nations.

God wanted his worshipers to worship by faith and NOT by a visible temple.

Please understand, God didn't break the contract [covenant] the Jewish people did.

God was and is no obligation to restate that covenant, since he has offered and is accepting people to his New Covenant.

Paul's letter to the Romans and Galatians helps us understand, why all must come under the New Covenant and become the true Jew today, the true nation of spiritual Israel and not the fleshly nation.

To make way for Gods third and final temple  not made by human hands.

Scripture is abundantly clear that Christ and his worldwide Christian church is Gods third and final temple.

Mark 14:58 KJV — We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Acts 17:24 KJV — God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with human hands

Acts 7:49 KJV — For Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

2 Corinthians 5:1 KJV — For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV — Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Ephesians 2:20-22 KJV — Ye are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ was referring to His body, that He would die and rise again.  The physical temple was destroyed later but not by Jesus.  Here is the truth: The Lord Jesus Christ is God. Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, or not. The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell.

Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future and means going to heaven. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus was buried, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing on Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

Jesus cleared the temple, he didn't destroy it.  He did this to fulfill a prophecy.
