Is it normal for your fasting blood glucose level to be >100 the day after you've consumed large amounts of sugar and stayed up until 2:00am?

I also had been fasting for 12 hours prior to checking.

If you are not a diabetic - it means your body is capable of handling anything you eat.

Yes - this could be completely normal for a healthy person.

Just be aware that these kinds of habits can be part of a risk factor for developing diabetes later in life.  IT IS NOT A GUARANTEE - just a risk factor.

No, not if you're not diabetic.

Yes, totally normal for me. I often am awake at 2 am, but I am a night owl, AND I AM a type 1 diabetic for over 65 years.

You did not say how much over 100 mg/dc your blood sugar was or if you are a diabetic of any type.
