    a has units of acceleration, m/s²

    b has units of velocity, m/s

    c has units of position, m

    m = meters

    s = seconds

    x is length. All terms should have the dimension of length l. at^2=l, a=l/t^2,  bt=l,  b=l/t c will have length l.

    c = initial position in meters

    b = velocity in meters/sec

    a = acceleration in meters/sec^2
