I do not believe Jesus rose from the dead because it's impossible. Your opinion?

There are many stories written in the bible that are scientifically and physically impossible. All Christians have is the old cop out, "god can do anything".

It's not impossible. Even Ezekiel or somebody stretched three times over the widow's dead child and, perhaps because the sun hadn't gone down yet, was able to raise the child from the dead. That much harder for the sun had gone down 2 or 3 days was raising Lazarus from the grave for he'd been dead 3 days. Jesus called Lazarus forth from the tomb in the backyard of his mansion in Bethany and he still wore his winding sheet to Jerusalem. Lazarus was there wearing his shroud in the Temple complex when Jesus overturned the stalls of the money-lenders and caused the riot on Thursday and Friday night, when 100 Roman soldiers arrested Jesus for it in the Garden of Gethsemane, Lazarus was the naked young man who ran away. Jesus was placed in the expensive rock tomb of Nicodemus across the street of the ferriers from the Temple itself and was 3 days in the tomb before raising Himself from the grave. People doubt it because when they asked the Romans for His body they used the word "ptoma" meaning a lych but, when the Romans gave their permission to take away His body, they used the word "soma" meaning a body on live.

Your opinion is not unique. You merely repeat what millions of people thought, from around 30 A.D. on. Why should anybody be interested in your opinion? Why should you waste space on this site by posting your opinion (as if it mattered)? Don't you know this site is for posting questions? Adding, "Your opinion?" goes against Yahoo rules. But, then, you only care about your own opinion. But if Jesus DID rise from the dead, it’s NOT ‘impossible’, is it? Try simple logic and think twice, instead of spouting mere opinions.

By saying that you merely prove you are not a Christian.  You prove yourself to be an unbeliever that's all.  Of course rising from the dead is impossible for men, but with God nothing shall be impossible. Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37.  Don't forget JESUS IS THEONLY ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD CREATOR AND SAVIOUR OF ALL.  You obviously don't realize the power God has.  If He has the power to CREATE all this, including all human beings and also all animals/insects/birds/fish etc., He most certainly has the power lay down His own life as He said He did for us - His sheep and take it up again at will. John 10: 15 - 18.  You need to be born again (John 3: 3 - 5) because otherwise by the words of your mouth you will be condemned on the last day because you are faithless and without faith, it is impossible to please God for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6).  By the way, nobody really cares about your opinion.  It's what God says that counts not what man thinks or doesn't believe.

Ofr course it is impossible! For anyone but God. That is the whole point!

  • What about  Lazarus then.  Check and Mate.

THAT is because you do not know who GOD is.

I believe you're entitled to your opinion.  That doesn't make it right.

It is impossible for a human being.  It is not impossible for a son of God.  Jesus and God operate according to natural and eternal principles.  Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done.  You are not omnipotent.

Jesus' earthly body did not rise from the tomb; angels rolled away the stone and extracted it as with Moses. The Nephilim Angel appeared to satisfy human demand for proof. Peter, who was with both, Christ and Jesus, on the MT. of Transfiguration, understood this but was advised not to reveal it.

However, The Nephilim did meet with his Apostles, both in Galilee then lastly in Jerusalem on 18May30A.D.

The Nephilim was translucent, transmutable, ubiquitous, levitatable, haloed, and taller than Jesus.

  • what is impossible to you , is possible for God
