Gay marriage has now existed longer than the confederacy did. Is it time to build statues to reflect gay heritage? Cons? You good with that?

It IS our heritage as Americans that's for sure. This heritage goes waaaaay back to the times of Sandra Bernhard and Madonna.

It would not matter all we would need to do is tell Antifa that it is a Confederate statue and they would tear it down.

It still hasn't been made law by the people or their elected representatives, in contravention of the Constitution.

I will topple any that is erected locally.

The legal recognition of gay marriage is relatively recent, but statues would be going overboard because there's still a big segment of US population who oppose it.

As long as you're ok with people pulling them down.  Apparently, everyone's free to destroy statues they don't like now.

If it "offends" some group, they should just tear it down after defacing it. You good with that?

If stupid was painful you'd be on a morphine drip.

Pushing the button like it was a video game.

Statues are not erected solely because of the length of time something has existed. Since when have gays claimed to have a "heritage"?
