    His great grandfather was a Jew who converted to Russian Orthodoxy in 1844, his baptised Christian son Alexander married a Christian woman, and their daughter married a Russian Orthodox man, Lenin's father.

    He was not Jewish by Jewish reckoning - not even by Hitler's Nuremberg Laws

    Yes. His mother was half Jewish. Lenin's ethnic background has been the subject of a great deal of speculation over the years, but the fact that he was part Jewish is accepted as fact.
