did "the elite classes" decide to orchestrate a couple of massive world wars in order to kill off many in the peasant working class?

since Industrial Rev. made them "unneeded" and more bothersome than ever?


how many men or which percentage joined up for the WW1 ? were any drafted? how many ? an exemptions?  how this worked out? how varied?

    The wealthy suffered in the great wars.  The wealthy normally have no desire to exterminate the poor.  The word "noble" implies a sense of honor toward everyone.
