If masks work why aren't movie theaters open?

People say it's important to wear masks so why not open movie theaters and only allow people with masks in?

They work somewhat, but not perfectly.

If condoms work then why do teenagers get pregnant sometimes still? Don’t wear condoms. STD’s are good for your immune system

You would also have to sell only one in six seats. It’s probably not worth it to them to pay the staff and run up the electric bill. And you wouldn’t be able to sell enough overpriced popcorn.

Because most theater profits come from concessions. A lot of people will just have their mask off the whole time munching on popcorn. And if they don't sell concessions, it's not even worth it to reopen. Popcorn costs more than a movie ticket in case you never noticed.

Perhaps because idiots cannot be trusted to not take them off in the dark.
