Why is my Xbox 360 not able to read the CDs I put into it?

I have a lot of CDs I want to play through my Xbox and after some years when I was about to play, it won’t read the CD, I checked if the CDs have damages on them but I don’t see any even a single one. Why is this happening? Is it the Xbox itself who has a problem? Or because I haven’t used it for years?

If you mean actual game discs, they are DVDs.

If it will play no game, your disc reader has probably failed.  If it works with some discs but not with others, then something may have gone bad with the DVDs for some reason.
