    Fighter aircraft:

    -Power/weight ratios of 1+

-Armed with missiles, guns, and other weapons

-Room for 1 or 2 people

    -Low bypass turbofans

    -Ejection seats

    -No inflight entertainment

    -No bathrooms

-Cabin is pressurized, but to a very high altitude

-May have stealth technology (special paint, stealthy shape, etc.)

    -Engines concealed in plane

    -Glass canopy

    -Can refuel in the air

-If it's a naval fighter aircraft, it has a tail hook and stronger landing gear to land on the aircraft carrier

    -Much smaller

    -Engines have afterburners

    Passenger aircraft:

    -Power/weight ratio of 0.20 - 0.33

    -No weapons

    -Room for 50 - 600+ people

    -High bypass turbofans

    -No ejection seats

    -May have inflight entertainment

    -Bathrooms

-Cabin usually pressurized to 8,000 feet

    -No stealth technology

    -Engine hanging outside plane

    -Ceiling isn't glass

    -Can't refuel in midair

-No tail hook for landing on carriers

-Much larger fuselage, wings, landing gear, etc.

-No afterburners (except for the Concorde, which isn't in service anymore)
