What can I swap with a 5.4 triton?

Question

I have an 01 f150 4wd. I’m at 240k (original motor) and would like something with a little more power but I don’t have to do a lot of tweaking. Any ideas?

engine swaps are alot more work than you would think. depends on how much you like your truck, i wouldn't personally even bother but if you like the truck you could always get a rebuilt engine and put some performance parts on it.

The truck is about ready to go to the junkyard.  Leave it alone.  Your "new" engine will be a waste of money when the transmission call it quits.
